
The 2-nd International Conference on Biodiversity, Conservation, and Climate Change (Towards COP 17), is jointly organized by the Scientific Center of Zoology and Hydroecology NAS RA, and the Yerevan State University. The conference will take place in the vibrant city of Yerevan from 9-12 June 2026, providing a platform for scientific exchange and collaboration at the intersection of biodiversity, conservation, and climate change.
Call for Abstracts
The Scientific Committee invites researchers, practitioners, and students to submit original abstracts for consideration. Contributions should align with the conference’s Thematic Sessions.

Only abstracts (in English) are accepted for submission (up to 300 words).
Presentation form: oral (10 minutes + 5 minutes Q&A) and poster (A0 format).
Working language: English.
Accepted abstracts will be published in the Conference Book of Abstracts with ISBN.
Registration/abstract submission deadline: April 17, 2026.
Registration fees:
150 Euro for oral and poster participation – Seniors (Involves full package of takeaways, coffee breaks and lunch breaks)
80 Euro for oral and poster participation – Students (Involves full package of takeaways, coffee breaks and lunch breaks)
60 Euro for Accompanying person (Involves coffee breaks and lunch breaks)
30 Euro for Gala Dinner (10th of June)
40 Euro for Excursion (12th of June)

Excursion
An excursion is planned for June 12, 2026, offering participants a chance to visit:
Khor Virap wetlands, Noravank, Birds cave Areni
Iconic cultural and historical monuments of Armenia.
This is an excellent opportunity to experience Armenia’s natural and cultural heritage.
