The group for the study of small mammal parasitology was established in 2023. 

 The main objectives of the group are to study the external and internal parasites of small mammals prevalent in the fauna of Armenia, conduct genetic analysis of the parasites, and investigate the distribution and ecology of small mammals within the territory of Armenia. Development of new distribution maps of small mammals and their external and internal parasites.
